Following Røyksopp for ten years is wildly rewarding. Prior to being fully connected via iTunes, I remember standing in a music store in the suburbs deciding which album to buy in the “world electro” section. Obviously if you follow these guys you know they blow that section away and deserve a title of their own. Freia cows

If California has happy cows, Norway has outdoorsy ones. I suppose that’s odd, thinking of cows as the outdoorsy type. Since, you know, they live outside. But these ones ski, and make what looks like killer chocolate. I have no clue what Kvikk Lunsj is but I want some of it in my mouth right now. Vikings, always good planners

They pillaged much of northern Europe, so why not plan a super-nautical hub Arctic city 40 years in advance? I lived the strip-mall suburban life for 13 years. I don’t think anyone sat down and planned out that situation 40 years in advance. I love that this unknown (until now) city in the Arctic is schooling us on how to take a seat, and plan things carefully for the future, not the developer.
